haha any pain my package feels from my postie, he gets in return
I should leave the Montie 4's for a while before smoking...going to be hard to resist. Will probably work my way through the diy sampler first.
Birthday in a couple of weeks, have a Punch Churchill with about 5 or 6 years of age on it lined up ready. If I didn't I would certainly entertain the Cohiba.

It's pretty dense. I've never smoked one of these before...reckon this will be a problem for me?

Just sent an email. First damaged stick I've received tbh.
I suppose as they are so dense they don't like the humidity and expand?

That's what I surmised too. It will still smoke, about half of mine had some damage. That Connecticut wrapper is thinner that my wallet. It's like onion skin.
Yeah it's like tissue paper lol Mitch emailed me back in 10 seconds. Genuinely nice chap he said can swap for another but it should smoke perfectly fine. I'll smoke it this week or next so I'll keep it.
If I was storing it I'll swap. Glad to know it's not just mine.
Smells fantastic! Has a lovely milk chocolate scent I didn't expect :/ or that just my nose

I wonder if due to the thickness they can hold higher humidity in the middle?
That and the sheer amount of tobacco for the wrapper to hold. A small gage stick will only stretch a bit but the difference in thickness on a 60 gauge is gonna be significant. The wrapper is the same. I think they can handle higher humidity if its done slowly. This is why I disapproved of the spraying method of transporting cigars, the change in humidity is fast and these thin skinned cigars can't hack it IMO. I've had loads of cigars arrive with split skins though and I honestly thing postage is just stressful for them.
