Trinny's are a wonderful smoke, the LE's I have manage to be a strong like a full on Maduro smoke without losing the lovely Cuban characteristics. It seems to me that they only make 3 smokes now though, Reys, Fundadores and coloniales. I hope they add to that soon.

Well I'm talking about stuff like the nub straight ligerdo. That is strong in taste and Nic.

Absolutely! Some of the NuBs can be quite robust, full-bodies sticks - such as the Habano 460 or the Maduro - but I don't believe it's because of the maduro wrapper. Sure, a maduro-wraped stick can appear rather menacing, I suppose... but they're actually kinda' sweet.

                  That what I think, anyway,

Are we talking NuBs, chico? If so, try the Habano or the Connecticut 460. Both nice if you like that sorta' thing. No doubt chico butterednutz likes a NuB every now and then. (pissing in pants laughing emoticon here.)

Regarding the maduro wrapper, remember what the late, great don TJ used to say: "...you can't judge a stick by its wrapper, especially when it's a dark one." Of course, he said lots of things!

Just back from business trip abroad.

Ahh yes, I've had a go at most of the nubs, I'm interested to know what sticks with a real Maduro wrapper you like? I read that some dark wrappers don't get the colour from the ageing/cursing process buy are actually dyed. So yeah what's your favourite Maduro cigar?
