Apparently bonefish are the best but I haven't tried for them. I told the wife that Cuba would be a good holiday, kill two birds with one stone so to speak. Too sport fishing and cheap sticks for me with the added bonus that she can have a beach holiday with lots of interesting sights too. Wait that's four birds. Saweeeet!

Bonefish and Tarpon are on my bucket list!

Is that an Indian Ocean fish? I really want to catch a large tuna, tbh all the bucket list fish would be great for me. I fished on the fly in India, Sri Lanka and Western Austrailia but was left feeling underwhelmed each time. Probably a result of watching too much Robson! I think Cuba would be a good place to pay for a real sport fishing trip. Austrailia was ok, pink snapper and a large ray were the highlights.

She is, I took the two sides off and hot smoked her in the webber over oak chips. I find farmed trout need a little help.

I have never been able to do much abroad so on that level I have only really have the benefit of reading and wishing. I have been fishing in the UK for almost 25 years though.

Its an Indian subcontinent River fish. They are pretty beautiful too!

Now that I think of it I saw a fishing programme about these. Jeremy someone starred and it was about big fishing adventures. Indian royalty fish for them as I remember, its fresh water right?
