A lot of people don't agree but have you tried wiping it with a sponge dampened with distilled water, the yanks seem to like this method.

I have done that originally PJ, and the seal wasn't the same afterwards I have considered re seasoning it though. Or buying a new one.

Looks like Wayne Rooney on a sunbed! Take the cigar out, saturate the label with Ronsol lighter fuel and let it soak in, peel off, clean off the glue residue with a bit more lighter fuel. The fuel will evaporate and the pack should be as clean as a nut.
