Unless it was expensive bin it and move on. I have been tempted to buy some of that glue but haven't yet.

I have never thought about buying it to be honest, and I don't think its necessary most of the time, for example a couple of weeks ago I dropped a Party D4 just after taking it outside and it must ave caught something as it the ruined the foot and also caused a couple of tears in the body, and although there was a slightly uneven burn at the foot the rest of the cigar smoked perfectly - picture below

I consider most cigars expensive, anything that costs more than a couple quid that I'm gonna burn.... Well I want maximum enjoyment where at all possible.

Well when you compare the average cigar costs the same as 20 ciggies

And an expensive one can be as much as a low end but still lovely bottle of whisky. The Cigars lasts one sitting yet the whisky can last a few if I'm frugal.

Now I'm not saying that cigars necessarily offer bad value (They arguably do in the Uk) but I just really hate it when I don't get the expected experience from one.

I think from my point of view with pretty new to this there has only ever been one cigar i didnt enjoy. Or is it my mind playing tricks getting my self immersed in the pleasure of relaxing with one and not noticing thats its not up to par

No, i think your right. I haven't had too many awful ones either. The worst thing to me is when you get a stick with good flavours that just won't smoke well.

I agree with this. The cost of cigars irritates me really. Based on the time it takes to enjoy and the social aspect of it, I view it as similar to having a pint or a dram. Therefore IMO it should cost about the same

There are a few companies that sell what they call "factory seconds" again where the appearance hasn't matched up 100% to the quality control. so sell them off cheaper
