Cheers Marc; I had trouble posting pics last night so I'll try again around my break at 09:00 & I'll post a pic of my most successful lures of the season. Super Shap Rap in Perch & Fire Tiger are my most successful lures of all time, mostly use them trawling these days.

Brilliant work Simon, great descriptions of some great cigars and the honesty with those that might have been. You seem to be averaging four per session. I find I can only smoke two and pick out individual tastes, in any after that I can get the stronger flavours but the subtler ones are tobacco blur. Needless to say, it's unusual now for me to attempt to smoke more than two on any one day, and one I guess would be the average.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
Hi Arf, Now four per session is definately only during herfs for me, 1 -2 would be normal. Martyn just tends to bring the Herf beast out in one Agree, smoking several isn't the best way to savour new cigars but herf''s are mostly about the social side. However one cuigar then a meal to re-fresh one's palate & then one afterwards I find quite acceptable & works for me. Another reason I didn't smoke the RA PC at the party is that I really wanted to savour the nauances of this fine vitola, without ht edisctactions of the crowd & I am certainly glad I did.
Still having trouble with the net, managed to attach some photos to go with the second half of my last post so re-check it out. Couldn't attach the last couple of fishing ones for Marc so I'll try again here. New Fly PB. some lovely lures there Simon, though I must admit if I had a rare lure it would be a tackle box decoration.... Wouldn't want to risk losing it..... Shameful I know!
Oh and P.S. yes it was an April Fools.

Hi Marc, first congratulations, that was an excellent April fool. You chose a fairly unusual brand & I am sure there were some newbies who hadn't even heard of it, it certianly sounded plausible.
The Mini Darter isn't rare yet, it's just that Loz has stopped making them & so they will become rarer as lures are lost over the yrs, as you can see from thi sshot, I have ten to keep me going. Tackle.Lures.IMG_0120.jpgThese days with 80lb braid, I don't loose too many but I have lost three Titchy Jims of his, in chrome paint finish(cost an extra ?1.50) & never caught anything bigger than a jack on them but they moved so well in the water I fooled myself several times. My mind would wander slightly after an hr or two without a take & then I'd see this little roach swimming into view & it didn't look well, kept jerking & looking vunerable. I half expected a pike to grab it infromt of me. Then the wire trace stopped at my top eye & I realised it was my lure. As if this wasn't bad enough, it happened more than once!
Here is a pic of the best fish I have caught on one of Loz's lures. A Hustler PlusPike.2001.02.12.19lb10.StL.jpg resulted in this beast. Pike.2001.02.14.19lb10.C.StL.JPGI really like the shot of me returning it, it really looks like the croc it was.Pike.2001.02.14.19lb10.Stl_64.jpg

Nice fish, lousy photographer or are you really terminally shy? Anyway I have been distracted (too easy for me, incase you never noticed) so back to the smokes. I am off next Wed. will be looking to smoke a couple in the afternoon & then there's Easter. Due to Lent, I resisted the more expensive of Ade's sticks but have to celibrate in style next Sunday. Perhaps of the of the Grand Reserva Cohibas?
