New in from JJ Fox

I spotted these SLR PCs on JJs website and having recently fallen in love with SLR and having never tried the PC, I thought I'd give them a whirl. ?35 for the 5

Last year I bought a couple of boxes of the Juan Lopez SS UK RE and one of the buggers was plugged. Normally I just bin plugged cigars but at ?20 each I thought it was worth letting JJ know about it. I spoke to the excellent Ryan who instantly said he'd replace the cigar no problem but he was OOS of the JL so I took a LFDC instead.... quality service indeed

I was looking at those SLRs as well, its a brand I would like to try more of, I reallly like the LFdC as well

I'll be in JJs tomorrow so will see what they have in store then

Also...Is Ryan quite a youngish guy? I think he helped me last time...they are all nice in there but he was very helpful.

I've never actually met Ryan in the flesh but he's the guy I've always dealt with over the phone or via email. Great guy who goes the extra mile as they say...

Picked up a fiver of the SLR PC's as well, cardboard boxes discontinued in 2009 so they've got some age on them already.

Bit of a bargain isn't it! Can't fault UK suppliers for service can you, seem to hear this stuff all the time. You would expect it for the prices way pay though.

Love the SLR PC. I can honestly say I've not gone through any PC as quickly as I went through these. Really hope you enjoy them Steve.

Had a Gran Cano in the store yesterday Mark. Not a brand I've had a whole lot of experience of, but was impressed enough to buy a box. A light first third, underpinned by a sweet slightly herbal almost cinnamon note. Builds in the middle third with more woody notes coming through. A good finish. Has quite a character. Don't normally burn my fingers nubbing cigars, but I did with this one!
