Got this as a gift from my GF, I am well happy with it. I can fit two 10 boxes of monte #2 in the draw.

I am not sure there is nothing to say where it came from but the box has hamburg on it. She would have got it from ebay or amazon so humidoro would be highly likely. .

Yes it seems tight the left right and top seals to the frame the bottom to the bottom draw. I have put aload of humidifiers in and the rh has gone to 95, and is holding.

So the new humi is seasoned and ready to go, but I have noticed that what andy said may be right there is a gap at the top of the door, about 4mm all the way across. I didnt look properly I thought there was a bit of wood that went across that the door sealed to.

The RH is holding at 70 do humis have to be air tight? Is this going to be a problem?

You tried ever so slightly brushing with distilled water mate just to cause a little swelling. I know not always good idea due to wood could crack etc but could help with the 4mm
