Personally leave it on doesn't effect the smokes but makes them less likely to get damaged

Cello? In general, if they come with it on, I leave mine on but some take it off. IMO, with all the different tobaccos, blends etc in NCs, I think cello keeps them from intermingling. The cello should be permeable, but I occasionally cut it off at the foot to let the cigar absorb some RH.

I tend to leave the cello on, but not for any particular reason, more to keep them as they were purchased.
