Was running on E with D4's. heard the recent batches have draw issues but I need to have some in the humi anyway and a 10 box won't kill me

Ah fooking hell. I just got 5 of these 3 weeks ago.
Take it from me mate, no matter how tempting it is to smoke em right now, DON'T. The robustos need to grow old or they'll kick your ass!!

Yes, that's ALWAYS the plan but then a little voice says "smoke one..go on, just the one...no one will even know" and before you know it they're all gone lol. Now I've got more space I'm going to get a seperate box for that little voice though lol

Just got myself a 10 ct box of 08 D4s. First one out of the box was really good, definitely worth aging for a few years in my opinion, as Ive never been a fan of the singles Ive had, which have likely been from newer boxes.

08 D4's are awesome. Had a few last year. Incredible smoke. Age does these wonders. I'm a fan of recent production as well, but I'm trying to save a box for a few years in the hope that they come around like the 08's

Everybody needs a box of d4. It's just a good no nonsense go-to cigar. I have heard of the quality issues but have only had one that was plugged so far but apart from that no issues

I know I am in the minority but I have just never come close for years on D4's that I like.

Perhaps it the blend/vitola that dies not do it for me?
