Shagfoot is the style of not cutting the foot of the cigar. JO sells lots of different customs. The pick of his stuff is from Santos. There are many highly regarded custom rollers in Cuba. Reylando, LaChina, Abel, Hamlet, Mons, Tabodaba, Santos to mention (and mis-spell) but a few.

Unfortunately (or fortunatley) a trip to Cuba is generally what's required to play.

Ajay has some great cigars rolled by Hamlet last time he was in the UK.

            Sent from happy, clappy, tappy.

              Nice!

I have a Hamlet custom rolled sat in the humi with a shagfoot, picked it up from Sautters a year ago, they told me it was his "trademark" and is supposed to guarantee an even burn.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

The customs tend to have a huge 'chocolate' aroma when new, don't know why. Personally I only like them once they have had at least 2 years so settle.

                      Fresh rolled cubans are awesome.

I went to a nice do in London a few years back that had a cuban roller there rolling to order.

Had myself a nice 'mas fuerte con mucho ligero'

Somewhere between chocolate and marmite with a kick like a mule.

Most man-size and strength cigar I've ever smoked.

                      Drooling again just remembering it.
If you got 'em, smoke 'em !
