Sadly "that the new guy should send his first before receiving anything in return as to ascertain a comparison of price and quality and proof of postage." goes against what SASI stands for for me, as value is ascertained before the other member sends his package, part of the fun was in that randomness, though it is in a way a flawed model and always will be... I still see no issue in requiring some kind of investment in the forum before recieving the 'rewards' as it were tho?

Guys guys, its all good. I don't want to wade into this debate. But I will say sorry for bringing it up and didn't mean any disrespect for the rules. I agree that it makes sense for the swaps to occur between trusted members, and saw the evidence for this on another thread today where a new member asked an established member to bring back a box of cigars from the States and then never completed the transaction. As I said, I will continue posting on here until I have the required status to participate as it sounds like a fun thing to be involved in.
On a side note, just tried my first RYJ Petit Corona....great small cigar!
      Happy smoking.

No need to feel like apologising, of course the rules are there for protection. I was merely poking fun. If you notice at the end of my first post I said give it time, one day you will be able to do it.

Agreed. And nicely returned to topic Steve.
