Was on a stagger at the weekend and found time to peruse a lot of shops and came home with these. Very happy to find the Andorran JLs. Pure fluke that I mentioned my love of JL to the owner in Gimeno's.

Not a great fan of the JL yet but the petit robusto format, and that lovely cabinet, yum!
The P1s are a personal fave too, and best looking jar of the lot
Surely can't go wrong with the Bolis either!!

Nice finds there. Interesting box on the JLs. I had heard that Habanos would no longer do one-off tulip shaped boxes like those.

none at all mate. I saw a few RA Grandes and some of the Sancho Panzas but that was about it for REs

I did see an odd looking Monte 4 travel case in a black zipper waterproof bag!?! Weird indeed and it was going for E160...never seen it anywhere else even on Trev's site!?

Gimeno's has some magic stuff but you have to ask to go downstairs to see it. The owner seems to have yet another (private) stash somewhere downstairs as it was only through chatting that he mentioned he had the JLs.

The Partagas jar was E250. The JLs were E395 and the Bolis were E105.

I spent a fair bit more than I meant too hence the Churchill sale lol

Thanks for that, I'm hoping they're out by July when I'm next in Spain. Same size as the Magnificos and 116 euro for 10, I'll be coming home with a few boxes if I can find them.

I've heard of that Monte 4 dealy, is it neoprene?
3 years ago I got 25 Monte 4 packaged in a half-decent travel humidor for the same price as regularly boxed Monte 4, I think 137 euro at the time. Altadis is quite good at repackaging cigars to "add value", they sometimes get it right. Trevor doesn't mention them because they are repackaged by the distributer, not Habanos. Although Altadis is in some way Habanos..

There are PLENTY of special packagings made for Spain and Spain only, every year. Metallic Piedra jars, metallic humidor for 50 Quinteros Brevas (this one was gorgeous), etc.
You will never see this stuff on Trevor's site, that would be a lot of work for something somehow anecdotal and hyper localized?

I believe Nino posted pictures on his blog last year.
