Had a trip out to Nottingham this afternoon and picked up a very nice little handful
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts regarding NC's that you put forward in response to a post from a few days ago. These are some that I think I'll enjoy based on a lot that I've read through recently.First impressions are very positive. They all appear to be very nicely constructed and have some lovely cold aromas, especially the Lancaster which basically smells like a chunk of smooth milk chocolate! If it smokes anything like it smells then I'm in for a real treat, and thanks go to Cap'n Quintero for his influential appraisal of this cigar
On The Havana side,The Flor De Cano Short Robusto is a cigar that I've heard nothing but good things about so I just couldn't come away without picking one up.The Le Hoyo Du Prince and The Camacho were very kindly thrown in gratis. The Camacho I know absolutely nothing about except it's a minuto of some description and was thrown in on the basis of "If you like pepper, you'll love this".All in all a very pleasurable trip,a very pleasant hour or so in the shop spent talking cigars with a fellow and knowledgable enthusiast and some excellent service, definitely a shopping trip that I'll take again.I'm not sure about the ethics of whether or not to name the store so I'll err on the side of not doing so but please ask if you'd like to know,I can thoroughly recommend it.Cheers everyone
