A wild card for me and was expecting 5 loose cigars.
Same code as the other "A" posted - Feb 2010.
Sadly, there was problems with these ones -

Whole package is really nice and well put together, I am impressed by the Monty A.

I wonder if they are from the same supplier, I was expecting loose cigars too.

The feet looks like over humidfication the head looks like physical damage during shipping, they are all individually coffined with loose space, I guess one need a bit of luck and some light handed postmen.

I think it is the same supplier.
I just thought that there was no way anything could get into the coffin as they seemed to be completely sealed. Lovely presentation.
Just unlucky with this one.
I have been very happy with all the previous orders.

I got a refund and get to keep the As, nice result.

On the odd occasion that I've had bad splits like you have here, I've sacrificed a cheaper cigar to get its wrapper and gently glued a wee bit of it over the split with torcedor glue (available from C.Gars). It doesn't look bonny but it makes it smokeable. Use a punch cutter to minimise further damage.

That sounds like a good idea, will cut a bit of the end and glue that on. Will go and buy some of that glue.
