In the post upon my return from the Mega Herf was a lovely little package, sent from the States. Thank you G-man - a very nice parcel with more than I was expecting!

Unfortunately, for the rest of you, I can provide no picture... I can say, however, that it was a jiffy bag crammed full of delightful looking NC lovelies, including some RP 1992s...

Then, at lunch time today, I arrive back to my apartment in Plymouth to find another package waiting for me. A lovely, pastel blue, Havana Club ashtray - exactly like the one that CJ posted a week or so back (so, again, no photo... )

I was over in Berlin on a stag two weekends ago and I broke away from the pack for a solo expedition into the former East Berlin to Herzog im Hafen....slightly surreal wandering about the harbour area on my own with only GoogleMaps for company as the sun was setting. Amazing place with fantastic staff and a huge range of stock. Lovely.
I picked up a few Germany-only mini-humidors and a few of the new ELs singles.

However, that was not the purpose of sharing a piece of fine-looking puro history with my South of the Border Amigo, oh no. It was to enable a BOTL of almost antipodean proportions to experience the craftmanship of a German-made piece of engineering.

I have one of these punches - i dont often use it as i prefer a cut - though im very happy with a punch - but its a good bit a kit and has punched perfectly every time i have used it.
