I'll find that hard because these smell like a sexual quimmy come on.

I've got 50 smaller smokes on the way, it will be interesting to compare and contrast.

I'm trying to become a STOCKMAN but I don't think I have enough willpower!
        Very nice indeed Robusto.
First rule of being a good Stockman is; Put them in the humi and just try and forget about them for a while.

          • Craig. That is exactly what I am going to try to do.
I feel better with a few drawers full. I feel tooled up.
I like driving home knowing I have over a 100 smokes tucked up in bed.
            I dunno.

Totally agree. And unlike a lot of other things in life, they rearely let you down.
Kind of like a big boys comforter.

              • Tell you what.

I tried one of the newly delivered JL2s this evening. Not as well cured and bedded as the ones you have looked after - but still a cigar to be in love with.

These cigars seem HEAVIER just to hold than many Robustos. They are log-jammed with filler. And they rest sooo well. And the brown smoke is heavy, too.

I am in love. I really am.

JL are now my favourite brand...all should tremble and bow before them

It's great that they're such a niche brand hence reasonable prices

What's the box code on your new JLs Bry?

                  • Uh Oh

My Cuban delivery arrived. Had to get out my selection boxes too (pyramids were a late gift which was lucky as I nearly bought some of whiskey77) so took a complete selection shot.

The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure 2's were my first cabinet ever (other than fake Cohibas from when I started out from friends...) so I took a couple of extras.

The Montecristo Sublimes are the darkest ones I've seen. Amazing.

                    • Hard to see in those photos but the sublimes are so so DARK.

                      • That's interesting.

Since when have Hoyo Epicure No2s had a band?
When they were my smoke of choice, they were naked as the day they were born!

                        • Interesting, Howard at Dunhill said that some of his customers specified "Dark and Oily".

I assume they meant the cigars, sounds good to me anyway up!

Hey Bry - all Cuban Cigars now come banded (since 2006!?!?) even those in cabinets of 25 and 50

                            • Yeh I've always known them with a band - funny, first I've seen with the second band though

                                Really?

I haven't bought Hoyos for a long time.
I thought they were distinguished without a band.

                                They are glorious smokes.
