The Rocky Patels are pretty good, and the Hoyo is decent. The Trini is ehh imo. Not familiar with the others.

You rate the Rocky Patels? One of those things that was an utter let down for me, oh well...

Jimmeh and I are getting some of the Hoyo Espresso from the US to try as we heard this is the best of the NC Hoyo range. We shall see......

You rate the Rocky Patels? One of those things that was an utter let down for me, oh well...

Must respectively disagree with senor Big on the RP Vintages ('90 and '92). I bought a few boxes of both when they first came out several years ago and several "seconds" of the same later on. I think it's a decent smoke for a non-Cuban - one that I happily "go to" when I don't want to sacrifice one of my fine Habano puros.

D.P. Cuban Classic (strong) is very good, 601 Red and Rocky Patel 1992 Vintage. Black Pearl is ok.
