Similar to my first (and still current) cigar hovel. Mine's a wee bit smaller mind (listed as a 15 stick humi, but currently nestling a batch of about 35 ).
With the glass tops, it is best to keep them out of direct sunlight, as when it passes through the glass it can heat up the interior very quickly, which we don't want. Other than that they are great - as you can gaze at them longingly all day long. In fact, whilst on holiday I am missing that, as my humi is in a cupboard right next to my desk (to protect it from sunlight) - being right next to me, I can eye up my collection whenever I am typing away online.
Enjoy, and as mentioned already, let's have some pics of it full of stogies sometime soon!
PS. Very nice Mr B and ACMCC - always fun to look at collections of odd looking sticks. As for box-presses, the recently arrived Nica Libre torps are extremely rectangular.
for the moment this will do, I plan on mainly smoking as many different single cigars as possible to find out what I like and develop my taste if you want.... not that I didn't give the 7 drawer cabinet a thought

Thanks for the tip. Luckily my home "office" room has as much light as a dungeon in a bad fantasy novel, thanks to the orientation and... the fabulous Scottish "sunshine" .

I knew there was a reason I holiday on the southern side of Hadrian's Wall! Only just mind.
the weather is really the only thing I mind here, after all as Italian I'm used to a few more rays then you get here.
Apart from that, north of Adrian's wall is a great place to be for me: great people, great malt, great food (at least the raw material!) and landscapes to die for. Without the rain it would be too much
New in the post today, aged Partagas du Partagas No.1 - Lonsdales 2002, very similar to the 898 varnish, although I prefer these as they are a little more complex with age, paid a bit more for aged but they have 15% off that, so not bad, can't wait to try one, and I only have to wait a week or so...
Thanks TJ...pix could have been better, but poor light today, had to take them at f2.8/60th - too lazy to get a tripod out..lol - pin sharp at full res in photoshop - always look a little off when reduced them to go on here, Some I have over sharpened when at low res which helps....

Gee, I hadn't noticed, but now that you mention it...
