I'd be very carefull speading the lid! an oval shaped piece of wood 1mm wider at the widest point? pop it on the radiator first to warm it up.. good luck....

First purchase

Finally pulled the trigger and bought my first box of Cubans. BRC's boxcode TEB May 08. Everything looks fine, but are they supposed to look that box pressed? Maybe somebody that has bought BRC's before can attest to that.. Gonna let them sit for a bit.

Won this H Upmann travel humidor on ebay for 14 quid, was really pleased as its brand new.



Very good quality, comes in a nice cream suede bag. It is lined with spanish cedar, and the bottom zip contains a small humidifier.




Also in today, 5 Perdomo Lot 23's from Mike, these are getting great reviews at the moment, and i believe these came from the original release, so thanks for letting them go Mike

I just got the Upmann travel humi from our sponsor with six upmann robusto today and the bolivar gold medals arrived tuesday...They are STRONG, smoked one straigt away and it was a bit overpowering. Think ill age them for a year or so before re visiting.

The quality is outstanding, bigger than i expected but really good thick leather, one more layer and it would be a steak!
