Yesterday I posted-up that I’d received a Lonsdales parcel from Mitch (smokeymo). I made an error. The parcel was clearly new and on it’s first seal down and had the CGars address frank on the back. In the parcel was CGars sealed box containing the cigar plus a selection of freebies and some promotional leaflets. There was no note, so I (mistakenly) assumed the gift had come from Mitch and CGars.
I was wrong. The Monte ‘D’ 2005 LE has been gifted by SmokeyDave. Dave I’m guessing had ordered the cigar from CGars and had them send it directly to me, but had forgotten to ask CGars to pop in a covering note.
Taking with David this morning, I was first thinking that smokeymo and SmokeyDave might be one and the same. They are not. Firstly, I must apologise to Mitch for posting my error and for the PM I sent as a thank you. (When he reads it he’s going to be puzzled as to what it’s about and possibly think I’m mad). Secondly, I apologise to Dave for my mistake and for my haste. I would like to thank him for his help with this resolve and to openly thank him for his kind BOTL generosity in gifting the cigar, which I will keep as last man up in the Review order. Lastly, I apologise to this Forum .... for being a twat and getting things so wrong.
