A very, very special parcel this morning ...

out of the blue and totally un-expected. It's from CGars and the first gift cigar I've ever received from a cigars vendor. It's a Montecristo 'D' Limited Edition 2005. There was no note, but I'm guessing Mitch has seen my pending Londales review series and this cigar was missing and fitted the bill perfectly. In appreciation I'm going to make it top of the bill, it will go on last, which as every entertainer and salesman knows is exactly the best place to be.

Thanks Mitch for your very generous gift. Under normal circumstance this would go into the never-to-be-smoked section of my humi which I reserve for my 'special to me' cigars. There are only several others in there, a Rokkit gifted AF Anejo Shark, which was my first ever forum gift, a NC HRdM Shuckins Special and a Monte Tubos that one of my sons, although he was out of work at the time, bought for me last Christmas. It's 'special'.

Very nice gesture. I have only 2 or 3 left of these, I keep them for special occasions. I should have bought more than one box when it was still possible… They were not great in their early years, now they're delicious!

I've had a couple of these this year, thought they were great! Alas none left now, figured it was best to smoke them while they were good!
