Mine is currently in the attic in storage, most of it was an 18th birthday present consisting of a Mission CD player, Rega Planar 3 turntable, Quad 405/2 Amp & preamp (valves ftw!) and a Teac cassette deck (I forget the model).
Arcam AVR300 Surround Amp (currently kaput at the mo - needs a new main processing board...)
Arcam A85 / Arcam P85 running as mono-blocks, one for the bass one for the mid/treble
Arcam 88 CD/DVD
Mission 754's with 752's and a 75c to complete the surround set-up.
Technics system that must be getting on for around 25 years old. It is a system built of of separates with the idea that you just bought the bits you wanted and integrated the rest later if you got it. I bought it second hand about 9 years ago and, unfortunately I don't get much use out of it at all. Most of my music is played from my PC, either streamed through my surround setup for my tv or just through the Creative Gigaworks T40 speakers on my PC.
Lo there do I see my Father. Lo there do I see my Mother, and my Sisters and my Brothers. Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.
I certainly used to lust after a Cyrus set-up... my Arcam kit was a house warming present to myself when I finally had a room big enough to do it justice. I must get the surround amp repaired, been missing that as I seem to watch more films than I listen to cd's...
I havnt been able to even turn on my surround system since the kids came along 5 years ago, the mrs says I should get rid of the monstrosities, that's my tannoy m1 in atacama se24 stands
