I would start rambling but I defer to Monkey66 on coffee. I can suggest a few though if he doesn't pipe-up.

Well how do you intend to make (brew) the coffee? I like different beans for espresso, stove top and filter coffee but I hardly use a cafetiere.
As a start try reading this....

For my espresso shots and base for cappuccino or americano I tend to prefer a Brazilian Bourbon espresso bean.
If I'm doing filter coffee then something lighter; or if I'm feeling extravagant then Jamaican Blue Mountain hits the spot every time!
