Oh I love the picture, so idyllic and ye oldie England, LOL

Thank goodness this is about Nespresso machines, if it was espresso machines then Monkey would just make us all look a bit silly.

Anyway, here is an old pic of my home setup but not much has changed. My Nespresso and espresso machines sit next to each other, its the Le Cube on the left for the Nespresso.

Oh this has turned into a good thread. Monkey: I've also got a filter coffee machine which I can't do without. About to get an espresso machine too, to ensure I can use any beans I want. My last one broke for the 2nd time so dumped it.

Not wanting to offend but all traditional domestic espresso machines will not deliver what you want and will fail sooner or later. My advice is to get a Netspresso or a commercial espresso machine and grinder (think ?800+). Also factor about a year for learning curve to really make good espresso. In my experience there is no middle ground and the number of people (myself included) who have spent ?50-500 on a domestic espresso machine only for it to break, or being given up on because it is so hard to make good coffee on.

For me it's the ?120 barbican library fine I finally paid off. I can read again and 'borrow' all those CDs.

I've been wanting a nespresso for a while... May take the plunge soon

And then you get into home roasting of green beans, etc...

I've made a couple of key purchases in 2010:

                            - Wedding Rings, I rather like mine and the Wife that goes with it!
                            - Holiday to Cuba (for all sorts of obvious reasons)
                            - Photoshop Lightroom 3 & Photoshop CS5 - made the world of difference to my photography

I'm trying not to spend too much in 2011!

And as for a Nespresso machine, the Wife has been banging on about getting one but she doesn't even like coffee that much! I'm happy enough with my bog-standard cafetierre for the number of occassions I bother to make a half decent coffee...

                            (kettle is already on...)

My local herfing mate has carted all his Nespresso stuff round here to line up and show off. God you coffee men are so bloody fetishistic! It is not healthy!

Like Drew, I like tea. With AND without a cigar.
I'm very happy with PG tea bags, too.
I don't want major fuss from tea. Just brown strength.
