Ok, so not as cool as a collection of guitars, but I've got....
A Yamaha Maestro cornet
A B&H Sovereign cornet
A slide trumpet
A pocket trumpet
And a picollo trumpet
My wife has.....
A solid silver flute of some description
and a voice to die for.
My daughter has an old upright piano.
And my son just sold his drum kit. As much as I'd like him to be musical, his priorities are elsewhere.

Acoustic upright piano
Several electronic keyboards for home and gigging incl.
Korg Triton Extreme
E-mu Vintage Keys
Yamaha Stage electric piano
Two acoustic guitars
Electric guitar
Bass guitar
Djembe drum
Violin
Hundreds of other 'instruments' inside Logic Pro, Reason, etc, for home studio recording
A space-taking accumulation of amps, combis, monitors, mixing desks, etc, for playing out
Will be good for the insurance claim, this.

Hey BB! If I recall from my "early Beatle" dayz, I believe the boyz of London refer to it as a "kit." Go figure...

Well Lascaux, I must first make a correction. It is not a Yamaha, but an Alvarez A Series. Sorry for the mistype. I dug it out and took a couple photos. Let me know if you like it. It has been played lightly and on only a few occasions. It is in great shape and i think there is a complete set of extra strings in the case.

Senior Robusto, You have a Moog Theremin, I am in awe!
I have been obsessed with the theremin since I watched the 1951 version of The Day The Earth Stood Still, as a kid it blew me away. I was introduced to the Bernard Herrman score.
I meant to try and make a home made theremin from internet plan years ago but it never happened. There was a fascinating documentary with Clara Rockmore and Leon Theremin reunited, I must find a copy of that as that instrument has such an interesting history.
I gained an interest in Robert Moog a few years ago and the fact that "he" made theremins is too perfect."In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
