Im unsure about the lifetime guarantee on the palio maybe someone else can shed some light on this? yes the palio is double bladed constructed in composite material very durable IMO an excellent cutter and as i said before has never ever let me down cuts perfectly everytime it also comes with a nice little pouch to keep it tucked away . the only reason im seeking a cc perfecto cutter is that the palio is really the only decent cutter i have (apart from a few cheapy cutters which i never use) so should i ever misplace it id be lost that said i would happily purchase another palio, hope this helps

I have the Cuban Crafter Perfecto. It's superb. Mine came from ebay and cost less than ?15 inc. postage. The seller was called ecommerceaffinity but they don't seem to have any at the moment. Worth keeping an eye on ebay though.

9 out of 10 times I will use my Palio. Have an Xikar and a CC Perfect but both not close to the Palio IMO. The Xikar Xi1 is a bit brutal maybe because of the thickish blades and the CC Perfect is a faff with the backguard thing.

Pallio cutter and blades have a lifetime warranty, new for old replacement.

The only little negative with the Palio...the little emblems fall off quite easily and get lost.

Been to a factory in Yangzhou in China, they had Palio, Xicar even 1's stamped CAO Cohiba, Opus X, monty etc. millions of the buggers & they were all genuine!
So - good yes they are, worth it, in some ways...
I did pick up 'steal' an old style Palio, the non ergonomic type from a 50 gallon oil drum full which were to be re-cycled for the blades... hard life innit!

Thanks Guys for all the recommendations.
I fancy the Cuban Crafters one but can't find any in the UK.
Postage from the US makes it a bit expensive.

I'll have to keep an eye on fleabay.
