I hate colds!

I've not even got a cold, just a bit of a sore throat. I could smoke cigars but I just feel it would be pointless and wasteful given that I wouldn't be able to taste them!

Anyone else down with the sickness?

Started last week, like a fool i dosed myself up and went to Ajays, smoked loads but didn't do the cigars justice, then went down hill. I've gone through the sore throat phase but now left with a chesty cough (feels like my ribs are broken) and snottage lol. Doing everything i can to try and get better so i can enjoy a smoke on Christmas day. Wouldn't mind but my significant other brought it home from her work just in time to ruin Ajays and Christmas for me!

Plenty of vitamin C and vicks in steaming water with a towel over your head clears the old pipes a treat.

Three weeks of it getting P****d off now.
The wife and son too, she's off to doctor today, to see if needs antibiotics.

I've had no sense of smell for weeks now and haven't had a smoke in that time. Which is a bit bloody miserable. I just hope I feel better for Xmas. If I can smell it'll be a Siglo 6, if not a Veguero.

I'm a cynic about all new things medicinal... however the rest of my band have come down with one thing or another (a mixture of colds and being "a bit f*$king precious" if you ask me) and I started to get "that feeling" at the back of my throat and nose. I threw caution to the wind and tried Vicks 1st defence spray.... it slays the back of your nose and throat, it really is harsh stuff, but using it for two days I came up "clear"!
