I'm a prolific cigar smoker, I eat badly, drink more than my fair share of spirits, have a very strange sleeping pattern.... but I do exercise at the gym regularly, more to manage the "black dog" and avoid looking like a weeble when jumping around on stage in size 10 women's jeans than any want to live out an entire century.

I'm right in the middle of the perfect weight/fat content for my height and age etc and often wonder at my nut eating, raw food and salad chomping, "healthy" friends who look like shit and suffer non stop with colds/flu/tiredeness/weakness.

I attribute my robustness and eternal youth to at least 15 cups of tea a day, Geordie parents and bloddymindedness...Oh and living in a separate house to my main squeeze.

I don't go to a gym. I'm overweight. I also need to fight the 'black dog' determinedly, and good cigars raise my mood no end. They are one of my main weapons against the blues. I'm in love with them.

I have had really bad bouts of insomnia. Cigars help me sleep better, and playing two or three nights a week with the band I'm in as well as teaching five days a week also help to knock me out.

I tell you - My missus is away until tomorrow, and I love it on my own (and with 16 year old lad).

I have never taken greatly to drink at all. I just don't like the taste of it, and my bladder works overtime already without booze!
