Weather info required....

I am driving up to Edinburgh Sunday morning at 04:30 and I could do with knowing how the weather is at the moment up there..

Driving from Cheshire and when I left Glasgow on Thursday there was no snow...

Any up to date info would be great as the forcast programs are pretty crap...

It snowed a lot last night here and its bloody cold too. It stopped early this morning. cars seem to be getting through. motor ways are fine but smaller roads may be tricky.

A word of warning for you Cohiba, I'm just outside Edinburgh and the small amount of snow we got last night is still lying but it did thaw a bit at one point and then refreeze, so now it's like solid ice. And some of the roads haven't been treated !!!!

Take care mate and be sure to pack plenty of cigars. You know it's the best way of keeping warm if you get caught in a snow drift. Also, the AA will be able to spot the smoke.

Nice Nic ....but additionally water, blanket, chocolate, car phone charger ...getting stuck is no fun.
