It's now exactly one month until Christmas...
Whilst I thought the idea of getting The Bird to No1 was a good idea for a bit of a laugh, I do have to put forward a far more worthy candidate.
Xavier Rawlins, a bit of a James Blunt character (a musically inclined Guards officer), is releasing 1000 Miles Apart on the 13 December. A very moving tribute to those servicemen and their families who are separated at Christmas (maybe just because I'm a little emotional at the moment anyway, but I couldn't keep a dry eye ). This won't be profiting already bloated bank balances (as per The Bird song), but proceeds from the sales will be going to the ABF: The Soldiers' Charity and Combat Stress: The Enemy Within Appeal
