Although i only ever occasionally saw Dallas as i child i thought the whole "it was only a dream" has gone down in history as the weakest writing and plot device ever.

As a member of this forum, I would like some clarification.

1) How come all mods sales are never asked for tax certificate while if we sell we are asked for one? Why would a personal sale need a tax certificate?

2) How come a mod can post a sale and clearly make it an auction but we can not do the same?

3) Many people here donate to support this forum. A offer was made by a member to host it to save money. But it was declined. Please advise why free savings to help this community would be declined.

4) We understand that the forums has a single sponser that complains about nc being "traded" (stated per deano) but isn't that the point of this forum... so that a botl can share their experience and cigars? And saving money is just gravy on top!

Does the "sponser" add value to this forum more then its members?

Since members donate... why aren't they considered "sponsers" as well? And in turn, can't they complain about the monopoly of the single sponser found above actions/complaints against all of us?

If the forums can be hosted for free... why do we need a sponser? The only thing that would make sense to me is that the single sponser helps you profit. Which is perfectly fine... however, I feel its wrong for admins to regulate sales because they feel the sellers are "profiting" when the admins themselves are profiting from this forum to begin with.

It feels like this forum is starting to become a shop front for "the sponser" lately rather then members forum...

All questions above are being asked without malice but with true intent on learning what this forum is about.

The word is sponsor not sponser. And Cgars are not a sponsor, merely an advertiser. The rules were all in place before they came along.

Basically most of this is none of your business. It's fully owned by me, and if you don't like the way it is you're free to leave.

Grey market trading is not allowed. This means people who buy cigars with the purpose to sell them on.

Did you not see that most for sale posts aren't mods. E.g. mb55317, monkey66, Masterdj. Not sure where you get the idea that it's only mods who can sell.

The forums aren't not being put in to the hands of a non-professional hosting service just to save a few quid here and there.

You all forget that it's my neck on the line, so anything even slightly problematic from a legal stand point is banned. Whether you like or not.
