I have some sad news to pass on in regards to peanutpete

Unfortunately he passed on several days ago at the end of December. I don't have any details and as I don't know his family as such, I won't be inquiring any further.

He was good friends with a bunch of us on the forum, myself, HabanoSy , monkey66 , Stefan etc often herf'd with him - and he will be deeply missed.

Everyone wax's lyrical about what a nice person someone is when they pass on, whether its true or not --- but in this case it really is. He was a gentleman and a really, really good bloke.

    Rest in peace Pete.

    Such sad, sad news…

Pete was a true gentleman and such a kind soul…

I will cherish the memories I have of enjoying a cigar with him on many occasions…

Only the good die young - R.I.P. Pete 🙏🏼

            This very sad news indeed,

I HERFd with Pete many times in the past, especially when I worked in London.

Many a good time at the Soho whisky Club was had.

My heart goes out to his family

Very sad news. He was a young man. I spent some very nice times with him in London over the years. I hope his family are doing OK.

I only met Pete once, just after I joined the forum when there was a West End cigar trail (I think in honour of Nick Wing who'd died shortly before). Pete was very entertaining and, after we'd camped at JJ Fox for most of the afternoon, he took us all to the Soho Whisky Club. He explained he got his forum sobriquet from his (family?) business of peanut importation (assuming he wasn't pullng my leg!). Very sorry to hear the news.
