  • UK election 2024

With one of the lowest turnouts ever we have tossed out the Tories. That message I think is clear.

    The system is clearly broken.

Let's see what happens next... Good luck to us all...

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

      Hahahaha.....
Yes! This is how I feel today.
Sad about SNP getting a drubbing but the votes all went to Labour so I'm still very happy.
Politics will be interesting in the coming months especially with that bellend Farage in the mix

They did promise to carry out the Rishi manoeuvre, that was subsequently ditched.... So let's see.

Farage has been seen at one of our venues.......

For now, no one can for long without real change to the system

Not think SNP need to almost completely rebuild to be taken seriously again?

Sad to say but the Tories certainly brought this on themselves & deserve the result. Their target now must be to close that gap at the next election so they might win the next one - so that's 10yrs with labour, excepting some unforseen disaster. Shame Penny Morduant lost by a few hundred votes, think she could have been an interim leader, I can only see Hunt as the other obvious choice. Surely they won't pick him, with his record with the NHS & we can't have TV presenters mispronouncing his name as Prime Minister!
Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

It should take labour 6-7 years to cack it up. I wouldn't like to be in Starmer's position, for all the talk he doesn't have much room to manoeuvre. He has to do something about immigration and has to resolve the Doctors strike as well as fixing the NHS and Social Care System without any more money as Labour have committed to no tax rises.

But the Conservatives main issue is which way to swing, I believe slightly right of centre (one nation conservatives) is where they need to be, but will they bow to pressure of Reform and swing too far right?

More of Europe's shifting right. I don't understand what's going on here. Labour will have to deal with the issues from the last government. They cock it all up. Tories are back... Worst scenario I think.

Will we follow US debt pattern? Will the US crash? Will EU countries start to crumble. This global perpetual growth economy plan seems to be cracking.

The western world is shifting right, it's a reaction to the influx from the east and their reluctance to adopt western attitudes and customs and the natives are becoming restless.

The global financial situation has to end eventually it can't continue. In the end the super rich are gaining wealth at a ludicrous speed and the small piece of the pie the rest of us fight over is getting smaller and smaller. Logically it can't continue

It's only shifting right from an immigration perspective really and we already did that here and it was a car crash. It was the only possible reaction to over a decade of incompetence regardless of your political view
