Just an update: All the problems were solved (except clock, obviously low priority), just back from a 680miles round trip to Belgium, without a hitch. Now completed 1,200 miles since purchase & that's more than it's avge over the last 10yrs. For 5yrs in the middle avge only 380miles. Aviva only gave me 2 choice of milage, 4,000; I took under (as I still have my XF but I intend to use most of it...assuming no major problems keep it off the road. Fingers crossed.
Just needs a good wash.
