  • Cigar prices in 2010

Happened to stumble upon one of my old PMs on this website from way back in 2010 (see attached).

One of the members offering to sell me 3 Partagas D4 + Juan Lopez no2 for £38

My reply actually turned him down because my humidor was full

I think just one of those Party D4 + p&p would be more than that now. Madness how expensive this hobby has become.

On a side note, I wonder how many active users of the forum now were active way back then? I stepped away for a long time and only came back recently.

I joined in 2014 & a Cohiba BHK was around £30 back then, 10x that now I think?! Generally accepted ok to blame China

It’s definitely generally insane but yeah those Behike prices are the worst - 10x!

I'm still here, contemplating just smoking what I've been keeping hold of for years and never buying again. When they're gone, they are gone. Trouble is, I have some real aged stuff that goes for a lot of money now and I can't just set fire to it, can I?

Ah thats certainly the modern dilemma. I sold a lot of mine and now regret it though!

I was looking at my Spanish prices from ‘21 when I was in Barca and they are crazy vs. current pricing

This is what I used to be able to afford to dabble in back then. Anyone fancy working out a current price for these...?
