I'll probably be the only one on here who cares about this, but today is the 40th anniversary of Aberdeen beating Real Madrid in Gothenburg to win the European Cup Winners Cup. Fergie's first European trophy and the last time Madrid were beaten in a European final. Some achievement. PS they also beat Bayern Munich in the quarter finals to get there!
