R.I.P Nino Munoz 'The Flying Cigar'

Just heard through a mutual friend that Nino has died, after an illness. I met him several times, corresponded with him & swapped some fine cigars. I know he came across as a Marmite type character, & he took some abuse on here over MRN's much delayed 2nd Edition of his Havana Cigars Encyclopaedia, which frankly didn't reflect well; as the worst offender is no longer a member so we'll leave that there.

If any of you read his blog 'The Flying Cigar' he certainly had an interesting life & a long & happy retirement. He encouraged many to delve more into the world of Havana cigars & he will be missed by friends & followers alike.

Really sad - he didn’t get many years in retirement. I talked to him a lot and he was good to share of his knowledge.
