fantastic haul deano lovely and smutty bit cigar porn, all great cigars IMO, ive posted before about the cuaba LE, IMO they are now coming good after a very poor start do tell us what you think when you eventually get round to smoking one
Ah 54s. Wish I'd bought the 52s tbh, I preferred them, but there was so little in the price difference I went for the larger ones. No 56s (fortunately!) there.
Have to ask, what was it about the 52's that took your preferrence over the 54's?

52s seemed to have a full flavour from the very start, where 54s and 56s took a bit longer. Just seemed to me like you got more bang per buck with the 52s.
I rather like this thinking. The 54 is aesthetically pleasing but perhaps a less bold smoke, I think I agree. The 56 is just objectionably large.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"

I know exactly what you mean.
In some ways I felt that the BHK pricing structure mirrored that of the Maduro 5 range.
In terms of a slightly odd imbalance of flavour to price and size.
A whole box of 54's though - now that's something to warm the cockles on a cold, dark night!
