Well Bambini, we have tried talking to her on a few occasions but its made no use. The woman is hearing things, i.e me playing giutar at daft o'clock and shouting death threats.

Basically, the advise i was looking for was whether or not i had a leg to stand on with someone who has a emotional and mental health problems, in the eyes of the law, court etc etc.
My local C.A.B are useless. They couldn't tell me anything and therefore asked me to come back on Monday.

Simply go to the police station and explain the situation so if anything does occur they will have some form of record as well as your notebook, also advisable to get others to do the same if they have any issues.

Good idea. I've said this twice now, but her mental health needs are irrelevant to your predicatment. You're faced with a neighbour problem, and you need to treat it as such. Buy a notebook, make notes of incidents and at least you'll be building a case for the future. CAB would still be your first port of call for dealing with a troublesome neighbour.

Yeah the notes were started about a month after the problems started but without having a problem the last few weeks its not been needed but rest assured kind gents, it shall return.

I would also suggest making complaints to the local council if she is a nuisance neighbour, they may already be aware of problems, perhaps she was moved on from somewhere else for similar reasons. That would also help your case when it comes to evidencing problems, which you can refer to the police to support fictitious allegations.

Thing is, ive had no complaints about her, only the fact she seems to deem it acceptable to make up these stories.

Now myself, i am an upstanding chap i think, i would never do that type of thing. She was asked if she wanted to press charges and she said no, otherwise id be in the cells as we speak.
