IMHO OF COURSE !

Check them out if u think u can stick it :P

I saw them from a distance while having my lunch. The female "singer" introduced each song in a quiet Blue Peter-esq (slightly squeaky) voice then "sang" like a cross between a banshee and the honey monster.

Funniest thing I've seen in a long while - I nearly choked on my pepperoni calzone.
I saw Rolo Tomassi back in 2008 on Eva the singer's 18th birthday (as she proudly announced in her girlish voice, saying she could now legally play in all the bars & clubs they'ds been to over the past 3 years)

Anyhow, "Mathcore" (a hybrid of "Math Rock" and "Hardcore") isn't quite my bag but I found watching them an amazing & totally engrosing experience: particularly the sometimes Yes-like complex arrangements, and of course THAT VOICE!

Peperoni Calzones at the ready and prepare to choke:

On the subject of female-fronted rock, I prefer this lot. Seen them 3 (or is it 4?) times and again although the actual music isn't exactly my favourite, they absolutely nail it live - highly recommended (they're heading an NME tour over this autumn). They've been signed up to a US record label who intend to break them over there - I think they're going to be huge.

The Joy Formidable playing 'The Last Drop' @ 93 Feet East on 28.3.09. Great drumming intro from Matt!

Im sorry, i cant even justify it as an amazing experience because it was horror to my ears !

There are loads of bands out there that are fronted by woman are amazing but they are just horrific to me.
          IMHO Of course.
