Haha. I think its an insult to Iron Maiden to be perfectly honest lol.

But yeah. There is all sorts of crap out there at the moment.

Im a big, i mean HUGE Black Label Society fan because the band is just so immensely talented.
They can do stuff like this :

Doomsday Jesuskill your past and all you thought you knew blacked out, hatred running through & throughhorsemen rolls, tomorrow's fading fastmake damn sure, ...

    Is a great song !

    Then do stuff like this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7RsfZPwAis.

Truly a GREAT modern band :P
A lot of sabbath and Zeppelin influence in there

IMHO OF COURSE !

Check them out if u think u can stick it :P
I saw them from a distance while having my lunch. The female "singer" introduced each song in a quiet Blue Peter-esq (slightly squeaky) voice then "sang" like a cross between a banshee and the honey monster.

Funniest thing I've seen in a long while - I nearly choked on my pepperoni calzone.

Ok so i had a listen to cigarboozer's link and for the majority of them, i could listen to, except that Mr. 'Canibus' fellow, i dont know what the F*** he is on :P

The first video with the DJ's is impressive, that is a form of talent. They have taken the time to work together, create a track, albeit samples from other songs but when you listen to it, and watch them working together, does it not bring a smile to your face ? It did for mine.

As far as 'rappers' and hip hop goes, i like to 'break it down', as it were :P to two categories. Happy rap (soul hip-hop stuffs) and angry rap (talking about their 'bitches' and 'popping caps in asses')

I dont listen to it often, very seldom in fact, but with some funk, it goes well.

I'l leave it at that i think :P
