Typical England game, score one & sit back. Should have brought Rashford on earlier & just attacked, better to loose on a goal than penalties, as Gareth knows better than anyone. Hopefully Rashford will over come his miss, having more experience than the other two but I doubt if the other two will ever score an England penalty in future & the predictable online abuse will just decrease that chance every day it goes on. I hope they have someone to take care of their accounts & having passed details to the police, delete them so the lads don't end up seeing them all. Have either of the last two ever taken a penalty for England before? I doubt it.
On a side note, from someone who rarely watches football outside of England games, do you remember when the taker would have a long run up like a Cricket bowler & then smash it. It gives momentum & gives less time for the taker to change his mind where to put it & less time for the goalie to guess where it's going. Stopping & dancing about is inviting failure.
I guess we have at least one member who's happy today, congrat's to Turin!Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
