Without knowing if we can bord and with less than 10 min to spare (tardy removals company), we made it on the ferry and left Britain the same way we entered 13 years ago.

The hassle and limitations of the move post Brexit really drove it home for me just how much Britain has lost.

But I will always have fond memories of the place and the people I had the pleasure to meet.

This forum will also remain with me though I will miss the COTM, which I always enjoyed tremendously and also enjoyed hosting many times.

Sorry to not have met more of you in person, but if you're ever in the north of Germany, give me a shout!
