Recommendations under £12

Asking for a friend for a present. Is it possible to get a half decent smoke under £12 per cigar. He usually buys online at turmeaus so any links , names appreciated.

Here's a filter. Turmeaus is cgars. I've limited to Cubans to reduce the list. Add the other regions and there's near 300 options!

Thanks i know I'm after actual recommendations rather than a filtered list of cigars under £12 so ones that you've actually tried or come highly recommended, im just not experienced enough in this area.

Bolivar or Por Larragnaga Petit Coronas can't really let you down. Do you want Cuban or NC aswell?

Bolivar PC has to be a contender in this price range

It can be difficult to recommend a cigar as everyones tastes are different. what are you looking for in terms of strength and smoke time would be a good start.

the reyes as above, H.upmann half corona are solid smokes and well regarded among many others.

Just had a quick scan of that filtered search and i could reccommend most. have a look through, see what you like in terms of the flavor profile listed and reviews left.

personally i can only think of a couple of cigars i didnt like and only smoked so far. the rest i have, just i like some more than others

Jose L Piedra. Several vitolas. I have heard some feel they're a bit harsh but I really quite like them. Always plenty in my humidor (Cazadores and Petit Cazadores)

They also do a price match so if your friend searches Google for cheaper ones, often 1-2 quid less can be found of those mentioned above.

Agreed. Looking at the Filtered post (cheers Banos), I am just glad I don't pay UK prices! But being constructive, would agree with others above the obvious ones stand head & shoulders above the rest: RASCC, HUHC & CJ, Vegueros Mananitas, Punch PC, Party Short, Monte No5, ERDM DT, Boli CJ & the Cuaba Divinos.
