2nd hand on pcp purchase is what I would do - more like £500. And you can sell it at any time, unlike a lease where you're locked in.
I do have a job offer I'm waiting to be taken off ice as soon as the company's hiring freeze is lifted so I should be okay.

Sounds like you're happy enough with the change. Just be aware some women can start out saying they want a mutual equal separation then later decide equal means they want half of everything of yours (including premarital) and also keep all of theirs.

Yes - thank you. I was not aware of this until a few weeks ago! Spousal maintenance wtf. Child maintenance I get. My mate is getting divorced and his genuinely lovely wife has turned into a psychopathic demon. We shall get a financial concent order once we have our decree nici. I'm giving her 70% of the value of the house cos I'm nice, so I'm pretty safe, but still. Weirdly my solicitor wants to charge me £1500 for the concent letter but it seems I can get one online for like £99? Why don't they teach you this stuff in school as opposed to trigonometry urgh

£1500 sounds like a bargain, my divorce cost me at least £15,000 and I only got 30% of the house but I kept the business and my pension. Kids are adults, although neither has finished studying and are still semi dependent, which falls on me.
I feel your pain. As it goes I got married in Vegas by an Elvis impersonator, cost more than £5er but he did a few songs (I’m pretty sure he was out of his tree on something truly Elvis style) Fast forward 2 months & ex tried to knife me, sounds like I got off lightly, financially speaking that is 😂😂😂
She didn't say so I'm hoping she didn't get me which is why she's going for dangerous driving which is at her descretion I think. Maybe 80. In a 40. She admitted herself it was a crisp clear morning with bi traffic (Sunday 7am) on bodycam so I'm hoping that'll help.
