Thats one sick fuggin joke right there!
Give your Mum my double thumbs up!! That was great.
I bet those cigars and the rum will taste twice as good now
Lol, madness! The fact that she kept this going for 3 1/2 hours was too cruel!
Anyway, as all is now well, and you know of my purchase - I'm curious as to what your thoughts are?
My current stock provides me with a decent selection, a few that would have made perfectly fine special occasion smokes. I just had the urge to get something a little more different.
I could have, and nearly did go for the BHK54 or 56 - but decided that I'm wanting a cigar for right now, and although I hear good things about the BHK's with some extra age on them they would appear to be more of a 'treat'. This is what moved me over to aged stock, and finally going for the R&Y 1989 - It's not that I'm expecting this to be the greatest stick I've had, it's more that, 1) It's ready to smoke and 2) I don't think I've had anything older than 5 years, the 89 is more of a curiosity to me, in a way a smoking milestone for me.
What would you have done? Have you had anything similar you'd like to comment about?
