I went to see Eels playing at the Brixton Academy (one of my favourite venues) with a couple friends last night. Thought I'd share with y'all ![Smile](https://www.ukcigarforums.com/core/images/smilies//smile.png)
After a bit of a slow start it turned out to be a really great gig. In amongst a lot of his more recent stuff (which I'm less keen on), he did a great cover of Lovin' Spoonful's "Summer in the City", plus a Beatles/Chuck Berry inspired version of "Mr E's Beautiful Blues" (even if you have not idea who Eels are, you'll know this one!) and full-on rock versions of "My Beloved Monster" and "I Like Birds".![Rock](https://www.ukcigarforums.com/core/images/smilies/newpack2/rock.gif)
I took a look at the T-shirt stand there too. Never really paid any attention to his more recent album art, but I noticed that one of the T-shirts on sale had a picture of one of his album covers on it:

I dunno you guys, but there's something familiar about that artwork...
