I imagined that these had stopped being produced a long time ago. I use a Mach 3 thing and don't spend a lot on blades because I shave infrequently and always squeeze as many shaves out of them as possible.

These antediluvian fellas look interesting though and I may give them a go. I do seem to remember a bit of bleeding when I used them in the past but then the lady concerned didn't seem too bothered. She was like that.

LOL@ captain duff; you might as well have come on here praising Hamlets for the response you'll get to that in this thread.
For the difference in shave I get, I reckon it's worthwhile...

I started DE shaving after Roughrider turned up here and mentioned about badgerandblade.com, as I'd been meaning to sort my shaving out for a while. It would annoy me that I'd shave and my face would still be rough!

I've currently got a few razors but I usually go to the Muhle R41 as it works well with how I shave.

I keep going for the cheapo Palmolive cream (from Tesco) at the moment as it seems to work really nicely.

If you fancy trying it cj, might be worthwhile going for the brush first (and continue with your current razor), as face preparation/lathering and learning how to shave properly are probably more important than the razor. I only noticed recently that the direction of hair growth on my neck is not what I thought it was, so I changed and noticed a big difference.

After reading the reviews on B&B I also tried the Bic Sensitive single-blade disposables and they are now what I take on holiday. Very cheap but will give a decent couple of shaves per razor.

Read through B&B and watch mantic's videos too.
