We spent the day in Teddington then upto the Boisdale to see the old Soho smoking bunch. He did alright gift wise out of that lot so I told him to take a running jump if he thought I was getting him anything, he only got me a Partagas sobresalientes (black label, festival dinner version) for my birthday back in April, must try harder J. An Italian friend got him a couple of sticks at Ajay's, one of which is an amazing smoke but sadly sworn to secrecy on that. Another friend gave him an aged Hoyo DC that he chomped through."In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"Comment
